Voodoo dolls have been around for ages. We always hear about them in scary stories. We never actually knew where they originated from. Voodoo dolls originated from Africa. Back then, people in Africa had very different beliefs than they do now. Even today, Africans believe in it. But back then, they were very spiritual and believed in good and evil. To resist evil and kill it, they believed one needed a voodoo doll for protection and safety. Voodoo dolls were believed to bring great things upon a person it was representing and the person handling it. It can do a great deal of good as it can do a great deal of bad. Voodoo dolls have two categories they fall into. One is the good voodoo doll. This doll brings good fortune and luck. The second is the destroyer of evil voodoo doll. This doll is meant to drive the evil out. Many people keep them in their house to scare and kill bad spirits. It is meant for protection and is believed to be very powerful.
